The owners of a 1960’s modernist house in Norville approached me to provide designs for additions and alterations to the rear of the property. Over the years a number of additions of varying quality had been tacked on to the house – my approach in the early concept stages has been to strip the house back to its minimalist lines and provide the desired outdoor areas in a manner that blends into the original style.
